Hougang Care Centre is based on the Clubhouse Model, an internationally-recognized
psychosocial rehabilitation model, aimed at helping people recovering from psychiatric
disorders achieve or regain the skills and confidence necessary to load vocationally
productive and socially satisfying lives.
The Clubhouse offers opportunities for participants, correctly identified as members, to
engage in meaningful activities that will help to develop life, work, and social skills
through their involvement in the running of the Clubhouse.
